The E.G7-OVA is a mouse lymphoma cell line derived by the electroporation of EL4 cells with a plasmid which carries a complete copy of chicken ovalbumin (OVA) mRNA. These cells synthesize and secrete OVA constitutively. C57BL/6N mice immunized with E.G7-OVA cells generate H-2Kb restricted cytotoxic lymphocytes specific for the OVA258-276 peptide(1). This model serves as a useful tool for the study of cancer immunology. At CrownBio, the E.G7-OVA model is available as both subcutaneous and systemic (i.v. injected) models. EL4, the parental model, is also available.
