This strain carries a conditional mutant Kras (KrasLSL-G12D/WT) and a conditional knock out of PTEN (PTENflox/flox). G12D mutant Kras was activated and PTEN was knocked out upon administrating adeno-cre in the prostate. This tumor developed in the suture position approximately 6 months after injection of adeno-cre.
